It’s always the right time to take care of ourselves and get pampered.  That is exactly what I did this week when I went to the Target studio in Manhattan. But let me tell you, ladies, though the pampering was a much needed and lovely experience, I LOVED the quality of the products that I was exposed to. I am very picky when it comes to skincare and I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I snuck out with an extra gift bag or two. 😉 Shhhh

One of my favorite brands that I tried was Beautycounter. This collection has everything you could ever need for your skin. I specifically appreciate that their products use clean and safe ingredients. And who doesn’t love quality products that are affordable!? This price range for the line is $12-$39. I die!

Sugar Body Scrub- Lemongrass

I am already obsessed! This scrub polishes your skin and leaves it with a healthy-looking glow. It uses real brown sugar to buff away dull and dead skin, mineral-rich evening primrose, sweet almond, apricot kernel, and sunflower oils to leave skin looking soft and smooth. It resuscitated my skin back to life. This scrub is also antioxidant-rich using acai berry for healthy looking skin and a mix of pure citrus and lemongrass oils for a fresh and invigorating scent. Need I say more?

Body Butter- Citrus Mimosa

I have very dry skin, and living in the northeast does not help. It is imperative that I lather myself in lotion every time after a shower. This Body Butter, right after the scrub, made my skin feeling incredibly smooth and ultra-moisturized.  It is made with organic sunflower oil, aloe and chamomile to soothe the skin while Shea butter and mongongo oil are used to hydrate and nourish the skin.  The moisture is quickly absorbed, making it last all day, and it also doesn’t even leave your skin oily. This combination is something rare to find!

Finishing Touch Set

This set includes a lip shine and a blush/bronzer duo. I particularly love it because you can take it anywhere with you and use it for any time, day or night. It conveniently fits anywhere in your purse or even your pockets. If you forgot to wear makeup and wanted a quick touch up, you can simply take this rosy blush/bronzer out and quickly apply to your cheeks. Don’t forget to add a touch of shiny lip gloss to go. The best part of the lip gloss? It’s non-sticky!  It takes less than five minutes to apply.  The finishing look is natural with a touch of glow.

This is a line of natural, skin-nourishing and illuminating products by makeup artist Petra Strand. You are left feeling fresh, youthful, and most importantly, for those of us who want to wear makeup to cover our flaws, but not look like we have it on, Natural.  This is line priced anywhere from $10-$22! This includes a silky eye pen in graphic greige and opal overcoat, a glow tonic to-go, lash line ink in velvet cocoa, lash nourishing makeup remover pads, lower lash mascara, lip lift max: sheer rose and honey sheen, and a multi balm.

The Lash Nourishing Makeup Remover Pads

These things are amazing! Every night when I take my makeup off, I always struggle with the mascara on my eyelashes. Well, these pads do the trick. These dual function, pre-soaked pads dissolve and break down makeup to deeply clean the eye area while at the same time nourishing the lashes.

The MultiBalm

These are just so rich in color. They will also leave your lips feeling smooth and looking fresh & sexy. It’s an easy application too. The colors are very natural looking and wide in range. From Baby Petal, Wild Rose to a beautiful red color named Soft Strawberry.
